| Having travelled for the past twenty
years throughout the East and Middle East, studying and appreciating the peoples and their
cultures, collecting artifacts of each area, we came across the magical vale of Kashmir,
an isolated valley surrounded by peaks in Northern India. Snowed in for many months during
the winter and cut off from traffic with the world, the Kashmiris have evolved highly
refined forms of arts and crafts. Very few of these artifacts have yet appeared in the
West. In the finely embroidered tapestries, we were amazed to discover a wealth of art
work that had virtually not been see in America. We became friends with the artists and
began to import the tapestries. |

| They are now available in rich selections
at wholesale and retail prices. We have large variety of colors, motifs and sizes in 2' x
3', 3' x 5', 4' x 6', 5 1/2' x 6 1/2', 6' x 9', and 7' x 10'. If any piece is not in
stock, it can easily be ordered in whatever color scheme and pattern you or your customer
desires. The tapestries are beautiful and impressive as wall hangings and area rugs, and
provide an alternative to the highly priced art market and Persian rug market. |
